One of the best performances of his career. He brought amazing depth and emotional range but still found the humour to the point it reminded me of Al Bundy at times.

Ed has always been one of my favorite actors. As a kid I loved him in Little Giants. When I was old enough married with children was amazing and on modern family he played that character perfectly.
