Being from Northcentral Ohio I had the pleasure of going to many, many concerts and Cavs games from 1982 till the end. SOOO many great memories from AC/DC to ZZ Top and all those in between. Thanks Nick Malletti

Love the video tour. That had to be a bit dangerous. Had to be sad walking through the Coliseum seeing it in that condition even if it were extremely dark. Thanks for sharing.

As a young lad I had the pleasure of patronizing Cleveland Arena, you know when you don't know what you were missing? When Richfield opened I was enthralled with the luxury and visibility. If you were lucky enough to get Loge seats (ours was just left of the owners box) there was a fancy chandelier halfway up the staircase heading up. Glad for this video, like the Titanic.

wow I would love to see the chandelier by the staircase, I have yet to come across any pictures or videos with that in it from the coliseum. I’m doing some research and would like to compile everything possible, including everyone’s memories there. I was born 2001 so I don’t remember the coliseum personally but god do I wish I was around for its golden age, so many amazing & legendary 70s-90s rock concerts, and my mother also had her HS grad ceremony there I believe. any photos and info are desired and I would like to compile them together to be published for public historical records, to keep local NE Ohio memories alive.

@emilytallent9677 it was beautiful. I have a hat the ushers' wore opening night, 7 Sinatra medalians, playoff cups, a Keychain and more. There are pro shot video of Michael Stanley band in 80 or 81 New Years Eve on KZbin like 10 songs.. The cameras are stationed midway up the arena and it's plugged into the soundboard. Also many audio recordings but noisy...Journey Van Halen U2 The best sound is Zepplin 77 and a Springsteen NYE 79.All on KZbin.

At least the people of Summit County had the good sense to demolish it instead of letting it fall into decay for the next generations to deal with. I loved my time at KSU and Summit and Portage counties. You guys are “good people.”

That would have been cool. I was able to see Tony Orland and Dawn, Rufus, Bad Company, Yes, Chicago, Grand ol Opry, and Hall & Oats.

You can thank greedy Cuyahoga county. They couldn’t fleece an arena that’s not in the county. Now you get to drive to the hood to see a show.
