Richie Furay • Live at the Hall, 2022

Richie Furay, a founding member of the bands Buffalo Springfield and Poco, performs, shares stories behind the songs he has written, discusses his career, and answers questions from the audience. Part of the Museum’s “Live at the Hall” series, this live performance was recorded on October 1, 2022, and is presented in support of the exhibition “Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock,” presented by City National Bank.

I still have my Poco Deliverin' album vinyl...one of the the best of allmtimes...just Happy music.

Hands down best live album ever. Poco blew away Springfield. Epic Records , and terrible management are what prevented POCO being the IT . POCO should be what the Eagles. Poco was a much better band both vocally, instrumentally,and writing. POCOS second album ( Orange Crate cover ) is mind boggling great. Nobody’s Fool written by Richie illustrates how professional Poco was.

I remember those Great days when Ritchie tune my Ibenez Roadstar guitar. I did not want to overwhelm of being a Poconut. Just an average friend that csn learn alot from him. I had a Vision that my friend Dominque hang out with him at Rstes National lark at a Rock Jam.😅

Gram was a little "too much" for Poco. I dont think him and Richie could have fit in a band together. I love them both, but they would have "sucked the air out of the room" haha." Also Gram did real well with Emmy Lou and with Chris Hilman
