I’ve listened to the CD twice this morning, FANTASTIC! It is everything I was expecting. This video was almost as entertaining too. I’m amazed you guys did this in basements; I think every studio in the US should be envious. This is my review I’ve been posting. If you dig Yes music, you have to get a copy of the new Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks TRUE. The songwriting, instrumentation and sound of Yes is there 100%. Richie does a wonderful “Chris Squire” type of background vocals and it’s never overdone. Jon’s voice is as it always has been and will forever be “Jon”; no one else has it, nor should they. The blend of the two vocals is the essence, spirit and soul of YES.

It’s a joy to me to hear these gifted musicians discuss how tracks are formed and realised, not in a sombre mundane way but with humour too! TRUE is everything I was hoping it would be and more, splendid playing, singing and arrangements but most of all, HEART. Guys, just listened to Once Upon a Dream.....Wow, just wow. can't wait for my copy to arrive in mail with the rest of the album. Saw the tour opening show in Jersey and will be at the Keswick show in September. Guys - I can’t say this deeply enough or enough times: you are living a dream! An absolute dream! …I can see myself as a kid, in the basement working on my homework, listening to Jon singing and thinking “wouldn’t it be AWESOME to be there and playing guitar or bass…” and here you are, 40+ years later DOING IT! You did a great job Band Geeks ! And personally, I'm touch by "Once upon a dream", the rhythm thing at the beginning, and the rhythm voice (s), and so many mélodies intricate. There is a spirit to this song, and I guess a masterpiece, like "Homeworld" (but the structure is more like Close to the edge)

Just got mine yesterday. I gave it a listen and it’s wonderful. The musician side of me hasn’t sat down and taken it apart yet, but I will when I get done with my current project. I’m an old prog rock dude. Saw Yes for the first time close to the edge tour, and 20 some times after that. Yes sounds like a tribute band now. True is a breath of fresh air. I recognize that venue. Celebrity Theater in Phoenix. It's our crown jewel of a venue. Such an amazing, intimate environment. Hopefully it was an easy stage and sound environment for the band. It was a fantastic show. I especially liked the keyboard solo during the outro of Starship Trooper. The nod to Freebird didn't go unnoticed!
