This is pretty..I have a few questions..1.) When you chain the 5, that you later use to make this pattern, as I continue to stitch, it gets all bunched up..should you chain MORE than just 5 so it won't curl the yarn? 2.) a whole 9 dbl crochet stitches in one hole is a lot! Can it be decreased without losing the integrity of the design? Please, I am loving the gorgeous look..I'm new to this, so I apologies in advance.

Would have been nice to see a reply to this...such a great question. I experienced the same with the 'bunching' up, I think I'll try what you suggested about adding an extra chain etc...sounds good

Is any reason why the 1st row is to tight ? Thank you .
@laurelgirard84752 жыл бұрын
Everyone has a different tension. If you ever have this problem just in the foundation chain, you can go up a hook size (from a 5 mm to a 6mm). But I would go back down to 5 after the foundation row.

If starting from the chain it’s 8 + 2. If you are wanting to add this stitch into the middle of a project, you’ll need a stitch count of 8 + 1

You need to be more vigilant on being precise of the row numbers you made two mistakes thinking they were the row before and that can really throw off people .

18 Isn't A Multiple Of 8 🤔 Or Is My Math Off ?
@blairybear96434 жыл бұрын
It's multiples of 8 (so 16) +1 and then +1 for the foundation chain = 18
