I was thinking 5* Magik, then thinking that they'll release her as a 6 or 7* right after. Now as far as 6* ascension, if I get 2 options I gotta do my R5 max sig X-23 and probably my max sig R4 (soon to be my 2nd R5) Peni. She's an absolute tank both offensively and defensively and easy to use

I think the best ascension for 5*s would obviously be Magik or Quake. But there’s also the aspect of the carina challenges. For example the last vol 1 carina challenge I have left is to complete labyrinth of legends with a 4* star lord. So obviously star lord would be my pick for my first 4* ascension. I imagine this will be the same for many people wether it be the 4* inhumans quest or 4* Canadian team or the 3* robots realm of legends challenge etc etc. 6* ascension has to be Herc there is no other option even close. He’s so powerful and very useful for everyday questing, BG, incursions and endgame content like EoP and Grandmasters gauntlet and he definitely won’t be a 7* anytime soon. Funnily enough I’ve never actually pulled a Hercules from a crystal. I got him from the 2021 cyber weekend deal (along with kitty pryde) for 24,000 units that I painstakingly grinded for in incursions. And now my Herc is at max sig rank 5. It’s crazy to think that I would have never had him if I didn’t get that deal.

I agree with all this besides Herc being the only 6* Option for ascension. I think him being your first choice for ascension is actually a waste. He’s so good he doesn’t need that 22% boost, I’d give it another strong champ that you like to play that probably won’t be a 7* for Atleast awhile. Everyone will want to ascend herc at some point but he definitely doesn’t need to be the first one you ascend.

Rich, this is great! Thank you! Another suggested tip when considering which champs to ascend - place priority on champs that require lots of resources to be great - awakening & high sig - as those 7* resources will be rare for a very long time. So we're talking Hercules, Knull, Thing, Guardian, Aegon, Omega Red, Valkyrie, Namor, etc

This is perfect. Not everyone is Paragon. Some of us only have 1 or zero 7 stars. This list is awesome. Ascension for 4,5 & 6 Stars is great. Makes champs you just can’t seem to pull useable. Thanks for the info

I will love to see a list of Champs who are best at Sig level 100+ since I'm still in a position where my 6*s are well below that rate but I have a lot of 5* signature stones and some fully 200 5*s. Excited for getting that lower tier dust to ascend some of those that would benefit the most. But since I've mostly left my 5*s behind and my 6*s are never at that rate, I don't truly know ALL the champs that are at their best maxed sig.

APOC makes a lot of sense for quest teams. If you have both 6 and 5 star, then u can create two horseman on one team!

Nice idea. I’d actually only create 1 Horseman and leave my most powerful APOC with 4 charges for max power. Max power APOC > Any Horseman

@@KenS99agreed. I definitely enjoyed playing with the horseman mechanic but over time I realized it’s not usually worth it. Apoc alone handles so much with his variety of debuffs, immunities, tankiness, and huge Sp2.

I think a good way to approach this is by looking at your maxed 5 stars and see who you will not rank beyond rank 3 as six star then right now and then ascend them.... as for six stars, its easier just the top broken ones, agree ?

Human torch should be S tier. Even at rank 3 he is still taking out end game content with the best of them. A 6 star ascended torch would be viable for the next 2 years minimum in both BG, AW, and questing. The same cannot be said about a vast majority of the champs listed up there.

I wish Kabam would put tier 1 ascending dust in the 1-4* arena rewards, and tier 2 ascending dust in 4-7* arena rewards. Just 2-5 dust per level of winning.

I think King groot should be in S list. just imagine a R5 sig 200 Ascended KG how powerful and sustainable will be. He could auto fight even the difficult Quests and still be at 100% health. AQ will be a joke for him. add ouchies mastery and he will be a beast

I only recently got king groot and awakes him with 120 sig and no joke he is a beast, was able to get to thronebreaker yesterday and he carried. Definitely ascending him when I’m able too

yes but for a 6* it will take ages before you could Ascend a 2nd. Till it happens we will have more R2/R3 7*. So the first one is important to chose wisely

It's their maximum power. You can rank a 5* higher than a 4* so at max level they're way more powerful.

it doesn't matter as it add flat 22% attack health on top of base attack. so once you rankup it will continue to add that extra % on top of it.

Ascending is a big BS cause it only raises the base attack and health without any CR hence an ascended 6* r5 champ would not hit nearly as much as a 7* r2 champ although Kabam is trying to sell that they are at the same level. Kabam basically abusing the players lack of knowledge about the CR.

Both are great options but as we don't know how much Tier 2 primordial dust we'll be getting (which is needed to ascend a 6* champ), I'd wait and just focus on 5* Champs you don't have or don't foresee yourself getting as a 6*

This isn’t a hard decision to make, not knowing how much t2 dust we will be able to get the smart decision is to ascend Hercules and kitty first as kabam have basically said they are too powerful and they would have nerfed them if rebalancing was a thing back then. We aren’t seeing either as 7 stars any time soon if ever
