Nice reaction! Rick wasnt experimenting. He turned himself into a pickle to get out of family therapy. Thats why the timer was set to inject himself to turn back 10 mins after the family left...lol

It's a fairly common trope in movies, not just "John Wick". The movie "Devil" also does this.

Another (much darker) interpretation to the laser/suicide scene, is that the device was built to erase all instances of the creature it kills in all multiverses. So Rick almost killed himself and all his other versions across all alternate dimensions.

Well, infinite among the finite parallel curve. There are only so many Ricks which display enough qualities to be called a Rick.

GroboClone That's a common misconception on how infinite works: you can have an infinite amount of Ricks without any of them having purple hair. Just like there are an infinite amount of numbers between 0 and 1, but none of them are below 0 or over 1.

Sorry @Seeya later, but infinity doesn't mean more are created all the time (even though I believe the show does believe this to be the case). But even if it did mean that, again, it doesn't mean that specific realities exist. Bit late but the eating poop thing is a call back to the when they messed up the world in Rick Potion No.9. A large number of humans including the teacher took shelter in the sewers with nothing to live off except poop. So this is a little call back saying how at least one of them is having trouble going back to "normal" food. Hence why the picture is a hot dog being eaten with the caption "courage".

(5:35) this is something i will never understand. They could not have been more clear that the needle was full of un-pickle-ing serum. 'What? was he trying to kill himself? I don't understand.' Where does that thought even come from? He set it to drop onto him ten minutes later when they would have been gone. They basically told you straight up, just short of stopping the show to look directly into the camera and slowly and calmly explain it. Is that what they need to do? To write every show like it's Dora the Explorer? Point at the screen if you can find the anti-pickle serum! You did it!

When I 1st heard about this show, I thought it was a kid show so I watched it w/ my kid. Shit was too funny to turnoff to realize it was inappropriate for my kid. My girlfriend grounded me to the couch for the night...where I stayed up and watch more. The kid didn't get in trouble tho. He got pancakes w/ chocolate chips. I just got pancakes.
