I'm from Arizona and I didn't quite know where they were going with that either. My reaction went something like "huh? what is this innuendo that they're getting at? are... they calling it America's... butt crack? is that a thing? do people call it that? I don't think I've ever heard that before, but okay... I guess..." Then the show said something a bit later that established what they actually meant. Different body part. Looking it up, it would seem that the notion of calling the Grand Canyon "America's vagina" specifically comes from a song from Sarah Silverman's show "I Love You America". (Never seen it myself. Was because they believed the sperm to initially be that of a normal horse, which would have had no chance of fertilizing her egg. That why they tried to stop the sperm in vegas and change their plan when Morty calls. 2, Sperm cells by definition are alive, much like a fertilized egg, and to add to that a fertilized egg alone is not an actual Being. It doesnt become an actual being until a certain period. But until then it just simple genetic material. 3, The show quite literally gives a valid reason's on why abortions are a thing, to prevent incest babies, which should be done. And to add to that not only was the child of incest, but it also was formed from a defected sperm cell which can cause more problems. Thats the joke, Summer is the one who actually came up with a plan and got no credit from the men, and by the end of the episode, the men still do not listen to her as to what to do with her own egg.
