Every time there's an emotional track in a Rick and Morty episode, it's a good episode.

It's the dichotomy of raw cynical worldviews (Rick and Fam on a normal day) crashing against relatable heavy emotions that we as humans of the transfinite curve do not contend with every day. Existence, Death, Regret, our relationships with our inner voices, our relationship with our close family, our relationship with our society and government and very way of doing things. It challenges our wonder and our heart in uncomfortable ways. It is therapy and philosophy dancing at 60 frames per second.

These are risky but inventive metaphors. It's as if despair and pain are becoming part of the business. Even if it's the tastiest spaghetti in the universe, it's just noodles. They haven't become less delicious, you've just learned what they were worth. The quick satiation and affect of death in an attempt to silence the suffering, or the whole life that was waiting around the corner for you to watch it to the end. Or something like that.

Fred got to experience what many won’t ever comprehend of comprehending; the unawareness of living life the best way possible to see it again while not knowing what happens to the physical body. He got to experience his life through his memories. Those memories appeared cherry picked; however, he didn’t die with the same pain as most. We don’t and won’t ever get that, unless you choose to allow yourself to believe such things. Also, maybe our un-alive bodies are nourishment for others. I said, Maybe… ;-)

Have you listened to the original? It's really good!! Oasis are the original writers/performers of this song. Honestly though as of this moment I think I like this version just a little better

Maybe, I don't really wanna know How your garden grows 'Cause I just wanna fly Lately, did you ever feel the pain In the morning rain As it soaks you to the bone? Maybe I just wanna fly Wanna live, I don't wanna die Maybe I just wanna breathe Maybe I just don't believe Maybe you're the same as me We see things they'll never see You and I are gonna live forever I said maybe, I don't really want to know How your garden grows 'Cause I just wanna fly Lately, did you ever feel the pain In the morning rain As it soaks you to the bone? Maybe I will never be All the things that I wanna be Now is not the time to cry Now's the time to find out why I think you're the same as me We see things they'll never see You and I are gonna live forever Maybe, I don't really want to know How your garden grows 'Cause I just wanna fly Lately, did you ever feel the pain In the morning rain As it soaks you to the bone? Maybe I just wanna fly Wanna live, I don't wanna die Maybe I just wanna breathe Maybe I just don't believe Maybe you're the same as me We see things they'll never see You and I are gonna live forever Gonna live forever

This song made me cry so much. This was such a beautiful episode that caught me completely by surprise. I didn't expect to be crying because of Rick and Morty, but here we are. As a result, I am never watching this episode again.

Hi mate, the song is a Cover, the song Live Forever was written by Noel Gallagher lead songwriter of the british band Oasis, and it is a fuckin great tune

I watched the Scene/Song over and over again, i think it's a accomplishment to make somebody cry - especially for a Show like Rick and morty. But this wasn't the first emotional master piece in this Show and hopefully Not the Last! 😢

It will be okay. You can view the episode again. When you are ready. Re-view Pickle Rick or the Acid Vat in the meantime. For perspective.
