Rick came to our school in 1982 during his coaching clinics and I won a footy that day. I was so chuffed to meet my hero and win a footy that he presented to me. A day I’ve never forgotten

Sturt supporters were spoilt rotten , in the halcyon days , from 1966 to 1976....and this great players was one of the best from that wonderful era .

I think had Rick Davies gone to Hawthorn earlier he would have done better. Just left it a bit late.
