What I love about this talented young artist is that she’s humble. You can tell that she doesn’t seek fortune or fame, but truly loves to share her God given voice. In today’s chaotic world, she brings forth healing music with her angelic voice.

Thanks for crediting Tori for being a producer and engineer. I look at a lot of reactions to her and supplement the reactors' amazement at her voice with the additional things she does. She's brilliant.

Tori has brought back the soul of that sound. I never considered that she was in any way trying to replace Karen, just that her reverence for the sound and hitting those low key vibrato hits a place in my chest that fills me with joy. Tori you are a treasure.

I enjoyed this interview. Thanks for having the ultra talented Tori Holub. I look forward to her collab again with Jim Wilkas for "Close to You (They Long to be)"; her new song, "Years Gone By"; and her new music video of "Something to Believe In". The awesome thing to look forward to is to find out that she'll have a solo show or road tour someday soon. Why not? Her musical gifts will be good for a weary, stressed out world that needs more inspiration and songs that touch and uplift the heart. Thanks for asking good questions that spark interest.

@@RickHenryChristopher Hi Rick! I also posted it on my Facebook. (Not that that will help, lol) Good luck with it. I met Tori and Joe at the 55th. Been requesting reactions since November. She’s amazing, as you know! Was looking for others to drop and saw yours dropped early. We had a few today. There’s a good number still to come from me and my friend Ron. Now new songs coming, I knew two the 3rd is new to me. Cool! I’m expecting this to be your biggest video ever, by a lot. We shall see. Have fun! Joe

@@RickHenryChristopher unless you revealed something new in your written article. Steve and Donnie wrote Christmas Again. My understanding was it existed but they had no voice. Then a friend sent them a Tori Carp. Cover and the rest is history…

This young lady literally got my attention when I heard her sing, so nostalgic. I loved the Carpenters and remember driving to high school hearing about Karen's death on the car radio. I want so much for her to do a collab with Richard, not be Karen but let him help her and with her on new music. Id love to see him do some of his UK shows with her!

We all know Tori's an exceptionally talented vocalist and musical artist. What's refreshing is that she's as level-headed and down-to-earth as she is talented. I look forward to all of her new projects - including her latest Jim MIDI Doctor collaboration! Nicely done interview!

Thanks very much for taking the time to reach out to Tori. Those of us who have found her music are always eager to get more insight into her background and influences. I think there should be an instant link between Question 8 of your interview and a number of the comment sections of other reactions to allay the alarm of some who seem to take offense to comparisons of Tori with Karen. Tori's answer to those concerns only reinforces the impression I have of her as a sincere, self effacing and very well grounded individual. And like @jbs256 commented, thanks for breaking some news about an upcoming release!

Tori is a genuine person with a true love for music and for Karen Carpenter. I do not doubt her sincerity. I kept an eye on her for six months before approaching her for this interview. What got me was how she interacts with her fans. Tori Holub is the real deal.

Very good interview but a bit cheesy with the numbers, however the questions asked were very pertinent. Tori is very self effacing as she seems to play down her capabilities and talent that goes way beyond just her voice. She comes across as a very intelligent and emotionally strong individual who is prepared to put her best foot forward, and I hope she can withstand any negative comments that she will undoubtedly field by those who are a bit precious with their own biases. Tori is a breath of fresh air in a world that is currently very divisive and will hopefully help to bring a bit of rationality along with her ride into stardom.

Great, revealing interview. I’d still like to know where she lives (California? 🤔) and how she got to where she is now. I’m watching Tori’s development closely. Beautiful voice that happens to sound like Karen. Of course, there is only one Karen, and there is only one Tori! I really hope Tori now gets the recognition she justly deserves because her talent is such a beautiful, strong ray of sunshine that boldly penetrates the many clouds in all our daily lives. ❤ She’s only just begun.
