Daryl isn't being Maggie's bitch. Did you forget, AJ, that Daryl has as much reason to hate Negan as Maggie does. He was kept in a closet, fed dog food, beaten, and paraded in front of Alexandria like a servant and humiliated. Daryl wanted Negan dead the same as Maggie did. Rick decided to keep Negan alive for his own reasons, for Carl's memory, so he'd have something to focus on and not lose his mind after Carl died. He didn't give a thought to how anybody else would feel about it. Daryl's not being slimy going behind Rick's back either. He's tried to talk to Rick and tell him what's going on several times since episode 1 but Rick's been too focused on doing it his way to listen. Rick's trying to create some sort of utopia with everybody working together and holding hands around the fire, he's trying to play out the peace that Carl wanted. Well, it's not working. The saviors don't want to work with the other communities and vice versa. Carl's not here to have to deal with the fallout of that, everyone else is. I love Rick and most of the time he's a strong leader, but he's wrong about this.
@angelcris106 ай бұрын
Well, he might not be Maggie's bitch, but if it wasn't for Darryl, Rick being taken would have never happen. He went behind his "brother's" back.He felt so bad about it, he kept looking for his body. Shoot, Glenn wouldn't of died if it wasn't for Darryl.

@@angelcris10nope Glen died because Negan made that choice! Not Daryl's fault. Daryl tried talking to Rick over and over, if Rick would have listened, they could have worked it out
@sunnygrl0276 ай бұрын
@@angelcris10 Rick could've easily went back with Daryl after they climbed out of that pit. HE decided to redirect the herd. Rick didn't want to listen to what anyone had to say because he was dead set on doing all of that in Carl's memory. He was dead set on not sacrificing the bridge, which he ended up doing anyway. It's easy to blame Daryl or Maggie or anyone else, but Rick's decisions played a huge part in what happened to him. Maybe if Rick hadn't given Jadis/Anne chance after chance she wouldn't have been able to take him in the first place. If she'd left him where he was maybe Daryl or somebody else would've found him. Rick made his choices just like everybody else did.

Daryl, Maggie, Rick, and Michonne should have all had a long talk after Rick’s decision with Negan. But I don’t think it’s fair to say that what happened to Rick was their fault. Rick went after what he wanted, they went after what they wanted, and in the end Rick prioritized the bridge and what it stood for over going back to safety with Daryl. You could say it never would have happened if Maggie and daryl would have talked to him, but we saw multiple people try and talk to Rick with him brushing it off because he was so set on his dream. The main culprit was miscommunication and a group with opposing desires, not any one or two people.

Incase ya'll forgot, which grey hoodie guy did, glenn saved the group and rick by extent more than once but one inarguable time he saved rick's life directly is episode one. In the tank. Rick would have either been eaten eventually, starve to death or blow his brains out(which he was about to do in that same scene) Edit: my opinion is that Rick's arrogance lead to this. It was a 'wise' decision to let Negan live but ,Him and Lorie were all but divorced at the point of her death and look at the tear he went on when she died. He should have expected Maggie to want Negan dead (not to mention everyone else). His arrogance lead him to believe that his word was final and that what he says goes. I haven't liked Maggie's character for a while and I certainly don't like what happens with her and negan in the future and her inability to move on. But Rick should have definitely seen this coming.

Good reaction guys. Rick Grimes/Andrew Lincoln has officially bowed out - one of my favourite and saddest episodes. Myself and the fandom were sobbing at Rick's last episode.😭💔 ********** The final scenes see newcomers Magna (Nadia Hilker), Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura), Luke (Dan Fogler), Connie (Lauren Ridloff) and Kelly (Angel Theory) battling a group of Walkers. The characters - who all come from the comics - are eventually saved by a now grown Judith Grimes. Showrunner Angela Kang confirmed the length of the time between the previous scenes and the newest one. “We’re calling this a six-year time jump,” she told Entertainment Weekly. ”So Judith [Grimes] is about 4, 4-and-a-half years old when we start the season, and then we jump to a 10-year-old Judith, just like we started with a 10-year old Carl.”

Glen did save Rick's life by getting him out of the tank in Atlanta, if not for Glen, Rick would have never seen his family. Now Rick could have just killed Negan and left everyone else alive to honor Carl, then he wouldn't have betrayed Maggie and Daryl. This makes the point that every decision you make has consequences! Maggie wants to kill Negan because of Glenn. Daryl wants to kill Negan because he feels responsible for Glenns death and Negan tortured him. They have understandable reasons to want Negan dead but they cant look beyond their own revenge. Daryl talks about all the people that died but he started acting bloodthirsty after his torture; this is about himself. Everyone was cool with following Rick and letting him make the calls until it ended without them getting their revenge, then suddenly Ricks the bad guy and its all his fault, but a season ago they didnt question him. Keeping Negan alive shows the rest that even someone like Negan at the height of his power could be defeated. He sits there to remind everyone that Justice and Goodness prevailed over Fear and Cruelty. Again, Maggie, Daryl and Oceanside have good reasons to feel how they do. But they think only of themselves rather then the communities as a whole. Lastly never forget, in show canon this wouldnt have happened if it werent for Maggie and Daryl. Obv the real life reason is cuz Andrew Lincoln left the show.
@lindapowers85926 ай бұрын
I totally agree Maggie and Daryl put all this in motion and Maggie hanging Gregory was the start of the downfall of everything that could have worked for the better in a civilized society in the apocalypse, period! Maggie’s personal rage and egotistical revenge is the opposite of Rick’s mercy and wisdom to not execute Negan and make him a martyr.

Although this is minor compared to everything else that happened in the episode, some of the walkers from the camp shootout was a kingdom resident and Kathy from Oceanside. It's strange as the only savior who had a gun was Jed. He should have been shot or disarmed immediately and the only casualties would have been the saviors trying to charge forward. Although she was a minor character, I hate that Kathy died especially from a savior as Oceanside already lost enough people to them before all out war started.
