Doctor Who the show turns 60 tomorrow. It first aired on the 23rd of November 1963 and is still going today with the 40th total season coming next year, plus there's a bunch of specials, a TV movie and spin off shows. The show can keep going with same main character without resetting the continuity because they have an in built excuse for recasting the role called 'regeneration'. The Doctor is an alien known as a time lord who the ability regenerate when they die which in saving them from death also rearranges all their cells giving them a brand new body. That was what the Doctor was doing doing with the orange energy after Rick shot him, whilst he isn't bulletproof proof, they're more of a minor inconvenience. In fact bullet wounds are how the 7th Doctor became the 8th.

😦😦 Are you serious wow, 60 years and 40 seasons wow, that’s an insane amount. So he’s pretty much an Alien God, an OP Alien at that. But that’s a pretty good ability, that regeneration power is something serious. Doctor Who is definitely the definition of an OP character. But I’m still salty that my boy Rick lost though 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣

@@GrizzyKanglive yup😂 Haha I don't blame you, if it's a character I love I can get salty if they lose something like this even if it was fair and it was a good reaction. But yeah, that long. I grew up on the show since the mid 2000s since my dad had also been a massive fan growing up on it in the 70s. There's actually going to be 3 anniversary specials over the next few Saturdays to celebrate and tomorrow they're releasing a colourisation of one of the very earliest black and white stories with the very first doctor. Also they're already right now shooting the 41st season which we won't even see until 2025.

They also failed to mention time lock which stops other people from time traveling, meaning he could leave Rick at the beginning of the universe or shred him in the timestream, discombobulate his senses,and turn him into 2d. They also forgot to mention that the TARDIS is faster and how powerful his time energy is

Lol I usually look at the analysis but when I saw Rick on there I automatically assumed that he would win, I didn’t know anything about Doctor Who until the video dropped. 🤣🤣 Never even knew that he was practically an Alien god, and sadly I never recalled Rick taking down something like that 😭😭😭

Fun fact: If The Doctor had been given The Glory in this episode, he would have been the STRONGEST character to ever be given an episode in Death Battle history, since The Glory makes him pretty much Boundless.

Hi I know this is late but I'm a pretty much a nerd in all aspects of comics, and fictional verses in general. Idk If you've leaned about the doctor sense then. But still good reaction none the less but i will leave some of the crazy stuff the doctor has done. Leading up to this fight this fight was already called one sided and for good reason. When people say death battle nerfed the doctor....they aren't lying. And I'll explain how one sided this was. So the doctor, has been around for billions and billions of years now possibly even before the creation of existence entirely we don't really know at this point but we do know the doctor actual age of is over billions of years old. Due to being a timeless child (we have no clue what that is yet. We just know the doctor is it and created the whole timelord race abilities due to their genetic's) now the doctor has fought and killed God's, demons, the literal Satan, the God of death and many other things. The Doctor has wiped out the entire time lord species and dalek's to end a war that was going to detsory all of creation, the timelords essentially are God's who created the rules of the multiverse, time and space, bend to them, they got ride of magic in the multiverse because they just didn't like magic. The doctor has turned a race of beings called eternals who remember how op I said the time lords were. Yeah the eternals are essentially God's to time lord's. The eternals can wipe out all of existence with a singular thought. The Doctor turned their entire race into humans and made them mortal with zero powers. Because they were being snarky to him. They didn't include stuff like the glory or other stuff. For the doctor due to how just easy it would have made the fight. With the glory the doctor scales to outerversal levels. The glory is stated to contain all creations in doctor who. The doctor who multiverse is infinite in size and complexity with infinite timlines and dimensions. The glory also contains the marvel multiverse because the doctor exist inside the marvel multiverse as well and all other fictional verses. The Doctor has complete control over that. There's many many more feats that can expand upon this. Like when rose tyler absorbed the heart of the tardis. Into herself and was capable of wiping thing out of existence including multiverserse the power was gonna kill her so the doctor took it into himself by touching her with out it hurting him or doing anything and put it back into the tardis. The destruction of the tardis which was caused by the doctor being sealed in pandorica by every enemy he had every fought. Who built it to contain him. But it took him 3 seconds to escape erased all existence down to planet earth. And the explosion of the tardis being set as the sun it reset time back to the beginning and every lived their lives with zero space or anything just planet earth and the tardis as the sun till the doctor stopped the tradis and reset everything. Which he was supposed to be erased from existence. Except he showed up to him companions wedding and acted like nothing happened. The Doctor can't be erased from existence, we don't even know if they can be killed anymore. Expanding on one more thing the depictions of the doctor never fighting back again rick and Rick killing himself is 100 percent accurate he does that in the show. But if you piss him off or get on his bad side there is no hope for you at all. 10 gave a family who wanted to live forever what they wanted but not in. Away they wanted. He wrapped the father in unbreakable chains forged in the heart of drawf star, trapped the mother in the event horizon of a collapsing galaxy to be imprisoned their for every. Trapped the daughter in a mirror...every mirror in existence. And put the son to work as a Scarcrow to watch over the fields of London. The 12 doctor cased a immortal being unable to die afraid to die. The 13th doctor gave a chance. When that chance was up she said exactly what her threat was which was. When they died their would be nothing left behind just a trail of blood and other people brilliance. Nobody even knew they existed, she wiped someone out of existence living only a trail of blood in her path. Rick genuinely never stood a chance the doctor at first glance dosent look impressive till you've seen the show or read the comics. Once you have they are the most terrifying being in existence because they can do whatever the hell they want

😁 It’s never too late to share some knowledge, and yeah when I first did the video I really thought that Rick was going to destroy the Doctor, I completely mistaken lol. The only character I knew was Rick, I had like zero knowledge about the doctor and his powers. I never knew just how OP he really was, but thanks to the comment section I learned pretty quickly, I even watched a few videos on how powerful he is. The matchup between The Doctor and Rick was one sided, and they definitely needed to nerf the doctor, or the fight would have ended in less than a minute 😂😂😂😂😂
