Found your channels over lockdown, really great stuff. Just watched this series over 2 days and it was superb. Great insight into an Open course just a week or two from the start and what changes should be expected. And you both played some tremendous golf. Thank you.

Great vlog, it gives us a chance to really see and understand the layout of the course and also see places that during the open you never see at all! Good saves on hole 8!

what im finding amazing about this series rick n pete, is that ive watched tons of your course vlogs, and ive never seen you play so cleverly, its liek you know this is a links a championship course and you are thinking about your shots more , instead of hitting a driver every hole, and your scoring better!

They played before the Open so they had to hit off turf in order to keep the course in tip-top shape. I think there was a designated area where they had to use it. Not in the rough or close to the greens.

I'm a long-time subscriber, both you guys are the most entertaining Golf Channels on KZbin… I just have to say, if you guys had a slightly longer (10-15 Seconds) and more consistent pre-shot routine, you would WITHOUT DOUBT shave off 1-3 shots MOST rounds I've seen you guys play, which is A LOT of rounds! Your teachers and very good golfers, I'm scratch but I think you guys have stronger games in some aspects, I just REALLY, REALLYYY think you guys would benefit from a slightly longer, more repetitive pre-shot routine, I've always wanted to comment on that, I really think it would help so much! Your swing tutorials (as in Peter's not Ricks!) are more complicated and SIM based than Rick's approach or any Pro that I've got lessons from, so I would think you would be an OVER-complicated robot w/ the pre-shit routine! lol Grant-it this video is 2 years old, the current rounds are the same, I just can't stress how much I think a better pre-shot routine would do you 2!!!

I really used to like Rick Shiel's, I don't mean to be offensive but for some reason over the last year and a half to 2 years he's changed & comes across quite arrogant & too serious on the vids. It might just be me and I apologise if this as caused offence, its just this opinion as been on my mind for a while. The reason I feel this, is probably because of the quest for the open thing, the course vlog's, instructional & equipment vids used have a bit more humour & more light hearted, where it's far too serious now. It's KZbin, not the PGA tour. I'm sorry for any offense
