*As the result of problems I had with KZbin, please note that from now on most of my videos will be configured as short documentaries with spoken commentary* .

can you elaborate on what the problems were and how it affected your content?

I saw u gave the answer to someone else his comment "I had a long struggle to convince them that I don't just "re-use content", but add significant value by restoring, enhancing & colorizing important historic footage. Adding more spoken commentary hopefully will better protect my channel for the future."

I got notification "Breathtaking Indonesia under Dutch rule in 1926 in color" but video was removed. So pity that youtube got that weird rules.((

@@michael18640 They are not gone but have all been moved to my other "Ricks Film Restoration" channel. The reason among other is that KZbin objects against some of the natives that appear in these films being topless. Here are the new links: kzbin.info/www/bejne/laXEgmCejtR6fsk

@@michael18640 PS: I have had heaps of problems with KZbin. Since today most issues have been resolved. Indeed some rules and consequent measures can result in very painful matters. It's like walking on eggs with KZbin.

@@Rick88888888 This is why youtube is a dying format. They shoot themselves in the foot almost daily. There are many other startup platforms, but understandably people are reluctant to use them because they are small. Good video as usual friend.

Lindbergh's 1928 flight New York to Paris made him famous because he was the first person to fly the Atlantic solo. The route New York to Paris was chosen because of the Orteig Prize, which was a reward offered to the first Allied aviator(s) to fly non-stop from New York City to Paris or vice versa. The specific route was required to qualify for the prize, but flying it solo was what made it such an achievement. More than 60 people had flown the Atlantic before Lindbergh, but he was the first to do so solo.

Thanks. KZbin is run by algorithms, bots and A.I.'s, not real people. God help us because this is a prelude to the future.

That is an interesting trip that would be impossible to repeat only a few years later, and still may be very difficult to duplicate due to political divisions.

In 1919 British aviators Alcock and Brown made the first non-stop transatlantic flight. Charles Lindbergh, besides being a anti-Semite racist, was the first to fly SOLO across the Atlantic.

Lindbergh WASN'T the "first pilot to fly the Atlantic non-stop". He was the first to fly the Atlantic non-stop, SOLO. The first non-stop flight across the Atlantic occurred in 1919, 8 years before Lindbergh.

The short document.ry format is actually very successful, for me at least. Interesting film on the Linberghs, shame his extreme pro-Nazi views later tarnished his reputation;
