Coach is as good as it gets. Most say he single handedly changed the small community of Oxford, AL - FOREVER! He taught boys how to be men and he walked the talk! I will forever be indebted to this man. Rick, Greg & Angie are all cut from the same cloth. God please bless the Burgess Family!!

Happy Birthday to a Hall of Fame Coach! I'll never forget having the privilege of playing for him at JSU. He has no idea how many lives he impacted as a coach. To this day, I still pass on some of his lessons to my sons. ONE OF A KIND! And yes, Coach Garfinkle was an incredible Defensive Coordinator that always had the right answer.
