@@11370LB Not to be argumentative but I don't believe that it's entirely fair to say that it's a blatant pile of lies. I had the opportunity to ride in a Taycan Turbo S a couple of weeks ago and I have to say it is unlike anything else that I have ever experienced. For perspective, I have driven a Huracan Performante, 720s, and a Model X P100D, amongst other things. When the salesmen launched the car my field of vision began to shrink from how brutal the acceleration was. I had had a friend tell me a few days before that a couple of launches in the thing almost left him feeling ill, and after my experience, I can understand entirely why he felt that way. Is it possible that they overhyped the car? Absolutely. Is the acceleration quite brutal? Yes, it is. It was odd riding in it because I had always assumed it would feel so similar to a Tesla but it didn't. Even from the rear seat, I could tell that it was much more tightly sprung and everything felt just as a sportscar should (barring the lack of a flat-six whaling in the background accompanied by a blissfully quick PDK).

I have the Tesla Model 3 LR. Yes, its not as nice interior as the Porsche, but offers almost the same everyday acceleration costing about 100-150.000 euro less when fully loaded. And it has longer range. I am very very happy but that Porsche is also magnificent.

The biggest problem of taycan is the efficiency, much lower than that of tesla, lucid or leaf, which is a bigger problem for EVs than petrol-powered cars (easier to make a bigger fuel tank than battery, fuel has higher energy dencity). Hopefully, it will get better soon as Porsche invested in Rimac. Its a really cool car in every other way tho.

About the running. First 20 to 25 km’s are quite easy to train but going from 30 to 42km’s (marathon) takes te most effort. You should try eating running food and drinks while doing those longer runs to not totally drain your energy while running. Also keep close eye on the hearth rythm zones you are in while running. This affects how your body consumes it’s energy. Greetings.

The beauty of electric in a car with this kind of power in the acceleration is the power curve. No combustion engine can compete with it as they will always have a gear change lag. Electric is just constant acceleration to it’s limit or when the driver lifts off!

Hmm, just a thought for baby sister safety. They don't recommend roller coasters to pregnant women due to the increased G-forces, I imagine that that vehicle accelerates faster than most roller coasters, therefore more G-forces. No judgement or anything because knowing what you can and can't do for everything baby related is impossible. But, thinking as an engineer, I would try to stay away from "super-car" like acceleration while pregnant :) Love you guys! :)
