Thanks for your generosity Rick! This channel is probably the most extensive drum channel when it comes to technique and education. Keep it up Rick!

I’m anonymous and would have no issue saying this to your fact ... Sir, you’re really good. I don’t see too many drummers on KZbin that are impressive with their playing. Hope you continue for as long as possible, you share value.

Bless your heart, Rick! You are the most warm-hearted and generous music instructor on the web. My playing has improved exponentially thanks to you- I now play as I never thought I would be able to. Not that I'm "there" yet- I'm still working on it! I hope to see you in video #2001!😇😎

Rick, I recently switched my primary at college from classical percusison, to jazz drumset. Youre videos are the absolute best, and have taught me more than my private lesson teacher, funded by my school. Part of me wants to save your whole library in case something happens. Thank you so much!

Dear Mr Dior, thanks so much for you honest and sincere video! I sometimes have my problems with the “modern times” - algorithms, clickbaits, “content creation”, influencing and so on. I’m so glad that you stay true to yourself, give a cr… about all that and - while doing a lot of fantastic work in the real world - still spend your valuable time to use the internet and KZbin in the most honorable way possible: Just to share your vast knowledge and educate. Keep up that great work, all the best to you!!

Dear Ric, just want to add my voice to the chorus of drummers who LOVE your channel & are so grateful for it. I'm in my mid 70s (& living in England). When I was a young pro & semi-pro I would have given anything to have been one of your students. I managed "get by" with poor technique but was always conscious of my sheer ineptitude & lost heart when a hero of mine said "Frankly, you're in the wrong business." (In truth, what he heard WAS terrible. I froze 'cos it was HIM listening!) I gave up for 15 years & then was forced out of early retirement by a local band & never looked back.) But in the early days of LOCKDOWN my drum playing son recommended your channel. I loved it from the word go. (You even taught me how to play "Three Camps"! I'd heard about this "infamous" piece for years but never imagined I'd be able to play it. But, by slowing down your playback speed I realized "Oh...THAT'S how you play it!") Besides...all your accumulated experience & sheer wisdom has been such an eye-opener! And of course...your actual playing week by week is such a joy. As we say on this side of the pond: "Stroll on...!That bloke's a diamond geezer"! Bless you, rhythm brother.

Thanks for what you do Rick, I look forward to your videos. If I were a young drummer starting out (or at any level) I would definitely be taking lessons from you. Heck I've been playing for many yrs and if I lived in your area I would take some lessons just to be around such a proficient and professional drummer, it would be an honor.

So let me get this straight- drummers can’t copyright their parts, but KZbin can still flag you for playing someone else’s part? That’s messed up.
