Greets from probably one of the oldest wakeboarders (66) on the southern hemisphere! Enjoying your way of explaining in a direct and practical manner very much. I am in the luckiest situation I have like my own wakeboard park at disposal and can practice every day. Making good progress thanks to you!

Great video, thank you! I tried cable wakeboarding for the first time recently. Honestly spent well over an hour trying to do a successful sit start, before a storm rolled in and we had to stop. Loved it, but hugely frustrating! I did a lot of swimming that day! hah. I find it all happens so fast it's hard to get everything right or figure out exactly what went wrong. I'm hoping once I've done it, it will just click and I'll get it. Seriously, you don't know how many times I've played back this video now! You make it look so smooth and simple!

Hey Julia I love your vids I’m trying to do backside 360 and I’m right foot forward I can’t fully rotate in time is the frontside 360 easier
@JuliaRick6 ай бұрын
Hey 👋 Thanks 😊 You can try a Frontside 360, maybe it’s easier for you! Depends what you personally prefer! As soon as you get the handle, the last part of the spin might be easier because you can pull yourself around 💪

i just went wake boarding 2 hours ago and it was so fun but not with a ski board like yours but with one with u put ur knees on it on the ramp and u just go but the problem i have is turning the corner and i always fly lol give me some tips so i can fix this problem
@JuliaRick5 ай бұрын
It’s called “Kneeboarding”. Try to lean and ride corners by shifting your bodyweight to one side 👍
@thomasdebacker49074 ай бұрын
You have to ride between the marks on the water en try to time your turn when also the cable takes a turn. So you are already watching in the new direction before the cable pulls you. Good luck!

Why do you put the wakeboard in the water before you start?
@JuliaRick4 ай бұрын
Do you mean the sit start? That’s how to do a sit start😉
@Bob_Ghosting4 ай бұрын
@@JuliaRick No that's obvious ofcourse, but I mean in the begin when you're still standing on the dock 0:01 you expose your dry board to the water before you start of, I do it too all the time before I begin, but I don't know why actually.

@JuliaRickАй бұрын
