35:30 - Rick nails it on why so many fans have spun around on Bryson (in a good way) and recognise the guy for the brilliant golfer and genuine bloke that he is. I've loved his whole journey - the bulking up, the slimming down the mad scientist approach to golf in the quest of success. But he has a genuine and likeable humility now. I so wanted him to win it, as I did at the Masters. But hey, I would have been stoked to see either Bryson, Xander or Viktor lift the trophy. I great PGA tournament. Nice course, but reckon Kiawa Island, was the best PGA course I've seen in years. Graet podcast. Northern humour at it's best. Cheers lads.

I agree with *Guy* here. I'm the biggest TW fanboy and if he's playing in an event.... You will see me on my couch or at the bar for a pint watching his group. It has been the hardest thing for fans because most of us want Tiger to win. He doesn't play enough tournies and only plays the majors, so his form isn't there. Every tourney he has played he looks so exhausted and it literally breaks my heart because we want him to win. In his current form and how injury prone he is, I can't see him winning unless he is getting his stamina and form back. Guy/Rick great analysis, Unfortunately, and I say that lovingly, I agree with Guy because I can't see him winning.

Hi Rick and Guy, my wife and I have just come back from a 4 day stay 30m from Loch Ness and I can say with hand on heart it was the most stunning place we have ever visited so I would highly recommend a trip up there. Only saw one golf course as they are very strict in keeping the Loch a place of natural beauty. Plz take a trip you will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work. Lol

PGA Championship was awesome - some great stories developing all weekend - and it shows in the viewing figures released earlier today. Bryson has won so many people over - my favourite golfer in the mens pro game right now - I used to hate they guy - how mad is that?? I'm loving the way the game is evolving at the elite level right now, it has been given a massive, and much needed kick up the arse. 👍

Rick, when you head back to play Portstewart, you should try out Ballyliffin (designed by a certain Mr Faldo) which is about an hour away if you get the ferry! Plenty of scenic courses like St. Patrick's in Donegal!

Bang up podcast Rick and Guy. Couple of thoughts. Tiger is done winning PGA Tour events and majors. His physical issues will prevent him from playing enough to get his game to a point he can win. He still draws a crowd when he plays. Interesting observation by Rick on how locals often do not see the sights near their own home. Most of the time they are trying to avoid tourists! 😅. Lastly, was not rooting for Bryson. He seems like a likable guy, but will never root for anyone who plays on that circus tour. They sold their integrity, took the money and needlessly fractured the game of golf.

As great as Ted Scott is an he is such an asset for Scottie. The reason Scottie had a rough Saturday was because the adrenaline settled down and woke up the next day to fully realized what happened to him. He was not in a comfortable head space, which would happen to anyone

I think Scottie thought it was just traffic control (like every other tournament). His vehicle probably has a window sticker to let him into the player parking lot so he just thought they saw it and he tried to pull around. Someone was saying the officer was really pissed and got quite physical during the incident.

Would love to play augusta but I’d be disappointed in only be able to play it at 6000yards. Same reason I wouldn’t pay to play sunningdale. Pay hundreds of pounds to only be allowed off the yellows at 6000. Not worth it for me.

Northern Ireland or Southern Ireland maybe only an 1hr away but the courses you're playing i priced out of the normal persons league,in 1998 I went to South West Ireland had a week with acommadation 6 rounds of golf including ballybunion tralee lahinch Waterville dooks fota Island all for £400,Waterville alone now is €325,I love my golf but a lottery win is now needed 😀

The only thing about everyone shooting really low scores is that it takes away from the truly great shots for me. If everyone is dropping it 6ft from the hole because the greens are too soft and they can just attack the pin, it makes it less special and less dramatic when someone hits that great shot.

Every year Guy wants to stop old champions from excepting their exemptions. The only person who should make that decision is that champion golfer. Would love to see Guy take on some of these legendary champion golfers and be humbled. Call it Break Guy. That would get some clicks. Guy vs Ian Woosnam would be a good first episode.

Rick said it was against someone who finished in the top twelve. If said player had finished top ten, he would have said top ten. With ties, that narrows it down to Rory McIlroy (0% chance), Lee Hodges (3%), Sahith Theegala (50%), Taylor Moore (3%), Dean Burmeister (4%), or Alex Noren (40%).

Viktor nearly didn't take part inn the PGA.... and I am sure Micah felt the same as he knew a tree lined course might kill him as his driver is or has been a little off and accuracy seemed to be very important.... but as we know ..we are ALL one shot away from finding something... he didn't find it...Viktor did....golf is a bee hitch sometimes

Was it really amazing....21 under winning a major?? Whenever Sky do a poll on whether this type of golf is more watchable than a tough course, the audience overwhelmingly votes for par golf. The course was wet, greens flat and the more people shoot 62's, the more we lose track of the truly great rounds, like Johnny Miller's 63 at the 73 US Open which many consider to be the best round ever. Equipment is making the game so easy for the pro's and it would be nice for a course to be set up with modern equipment in mind, rather than thinking making it 7800 yards will be difficult. It was point and shoot golf, no imagination required. And people enjoying the other shenanigans shows the social media age we live in...I mean a bloke died and a day later he's forgotten about.

I’ll bet money they’re going to drop the charges on Scottie. They’ve already moved the arraignment two weeks down the road. My guess is that has been done in an effort for the media to forget about it so they can drop the charges with as little embarrassment as possible.

I watched the hearing and it was moved back on a motion by Scheffler's lawyer. Prosecution wanted to keep it on Tuesday. So far, there's zero indication it'll be dropped.
