Asus X515 / F515EA Ram and SSD Upgrade

While watching this video, I found that there is some kind of trace/connector for the hard drive, if you look closely to the right of the ram and left of the wifi adapter.

Hie, i have a similar laptop Asus X515-I382G4W but mine came with 8GB Ram already installed on the Mother board. i want to upgrade the ram, but am not sure what is the max RAM the laptop can handle

i also have the same laptop it can handle upto 16 gb

@@sandilencube379yes i have also insert a single 8gb stick i guess you can put 8 one side and 8 on the other side but other side is integrated so you probably have to give to laptop specialist

i would try the 16GB. i dont see why it wouldnt work unless you only have a celeron CPU in the laptop

I got the same laptop and it came with 128 ssd and 1 tb hdd I want to upgrade the sss how would i go about cloning it ? So I can just move what i got on it atm

I have asus X515 with Nvidia , can I follow the same steps as you, and what's the max of ram I can add to it cause I have now 8 go and want to boost performance as I'm a software engineer ?

upgrading to 16gb or 32gb probably wont get the laptop running much better

2:14 yes you can ad a 16GB Stick
