It is Europe’s Christendom roots and traditions that makes this episode so dear to me and puts me in the Christmas spirit. I love listening to Rick Steves tell the Christmas story and then seeing how families celebrate the birth of Christ in modern times. Merry Christmas to all the travelers and to all the homebound.

Hey there Rick, I'm a Pagan but I still appreciate and respect the festival of Christmas and enjoy the way you showcase the way other countries celebrate and their customs and Christmas culture. Love your channel man, you have no idea just what the gift of being ( in my humble opinion) Europe's best travel guide means to not just me but loads of people across the world like me, who have physical health problems/finances that doesn't make travel easy - you bring it into our lives, thank you so much for what you do and please keep doing it! Merry Christmas Rick and Family, I'm currently re-watching this wonderful, delightful Christmas gem you've put together that as I sit here at home, on my own - but happy and awaiting friends for a drink this evening I decided there was only one thing I wanted to watch while I ate my non-traditional Christmas meal and quite rightly appreciating that I have food to eat and a warm roof.
