I spent years of my life in Saudi Arabia while serving in the USAF. Back in 2002 I managed to get a local nicknamed “Reggie”, to head to Riyahd and scoop up two Huffy mountain bikes. I stripped everything I could off them I could to lighten these stead’s up. The following day was a rest day, being in Civil Engineering squadron I had access to heavy equipment. So I built myself a proper jump line with a massive booter at the end, the ender sender was HUGE. So I called out all my mates from the tents and said “watch this fellas” and proceeded to put on a show for as long as the bike would hold up. I have pictures to prove that I might have been the first American to send two wheels in the air over great distances in Saudi Arabia! Now in 2024 I’m still absolutely shocked these two wheeled hero’s are racing there! Cheers from southern Utah🏜️Getting in shape for the Gypsy 500 🏁✊🏼
