You say about people getting a boost from complaints. Billy Joel had put out at least 3 albums with not much success. On his 1977 album the stranger there was a song called only the good die young. The lyrics were about sex and losing your virginity and the church took offence and sales hit the roof. The rest is history. He thought the record label were going to drop him if the album sales weren't good . Thank goodness for catholic girls❤❤❤

Not trying to be a dick here because I get your general point and much of what you have said is true, but the church complaining boosted the single for Only the Good Die Young, but the album sold well and three earlier singles had already made the top 20, including Just the Way You Are that reached #3 and won two Grammy Awards too, for Record and Song of the year. The irony is, the line 'You Catholic girls start much too late' should have been taken as a positive trait by those who complained about it.

And I personally am making no judgments either way, but if any refugees come to the UK and claim benefits they are condemned as scroungers, yet if they come here and work they are accused of stealing jobs, so they really cannot win either way.
