It’s not just detached from reality though - literally all the people in the room had been enabling Weinstein because they remained silent and kept working with him or at least not against him. Ricky Gervais literally turned The Golden Globes into the best award show on television. I don't ever bother to watch any of those boring shows, but The Globes were always great to watch. Very relaxed and Ricky made sure nobody got carried away with their political speeches lol

He's not so great as an actor, usually just playing himself, but as a writer he is fantastic. That thing he wrote about lists for Liam Neesom is the funniest thing I have ever heard! I'm currently watching his show After Life on Netflix and it is a really good show most because it is so well written and really it's all about just life and the various problems people go through.
