A flaw I've always noticed with Ricky hatton is this shout on the punch, it leaves his mouth open, so many times he's been caught with a shot to an open mouth to the chin. I think it holds him back.

Ya have to remember he's still coming down in weight and is wearing 16 Oz gloves for pad and bag work which is so that he gets used to moving in big gloves as he will be in 16's on the night I heard and for conditioning and strength building in his arms. On the bag he's still moving his hands as even light work is work and then throwing in two or three full on power shots, it's part of the conditioning process. I'd say he's still got another stone to shed. Then he will become even sharper and speed equals power even in 16's
