hey ricky, belfast is home of riots for nothitg, but i love belfast about own specific atmosphere. weird people, good beer, cold and rainy. i respect your roots. song is great with irish influance, but almighty was real rock n roll, great memories.

It just hit me! Why Is RICKY WARWICK not hailed up like Snow Patrol, Ash etc and as one of the greats from this WEE Country of Northern Ireland. Your music feels to me like it represents this place so much more than the others i mentioned. I do not mean that music should have to, or should represent a place at all!! Not at all!! But i find it strange that someone who feels so much closer to the sound..... maybe more stories and feeling of the place i mean like SLF, Rudi and many others! (different sound of course) but as in being such it is a distinctive voice from NI that is overlooked in the mainstream (local) media and festivals!! I dont get it! In my personal opinion, my favorite NI music people ever are Van and Ricky!
