The bad part is they (professional ball players of ALL sports) knew that it was good for managing pain and for a number of other problems they had. Sleep, eating, pre-cardio before their work outs, stress, etc.. It's a shame that the Government denies it has ANY medicinal values especially since they hold five U.S. Patent's for it's medicinal values. Which is strange seeing the U.S. Government is not allowed to be in "business" so why are they patent holders? Patents by design for business(es) because it protects their products from being stolen by other companies.

I remember being a kid hearing Ricky in the news about him smoking cannabis. And I remember people disowning him (phins fans because he wasn’t gonna be playing anymore &/or they hated cannabis) . And all I was thinking about was...wtf is cannabis 😂😂. He still my fav and little did I know 5 years later I would take my first toke at 14yrs old 😂😂. After that, he became my all time fav athlete/stoner athlete lol.

Dude this guy was one of my favorite players. I’m a cowboys fan but I got players that I love to watch. Ricky Williams, Michael Vick and Peyton Manning was it for me. I absolutely loved watching this guy play. From the outside looking in I was pissed that he kept getting suspended for weed. The dude is effin talented. Then after he retired I read up on him and how he was some kind of therapist and I learned that the pills gave him an ulcer and everything else and my respect for him just grew, mind you I never lost respect for this man. Yes, same thing happened to me from taking pain pills because of a back injury. Almost died from loss of blood into my stomach. A friend of mine recommended I try cannabis for pain and that was that. No more pain.
