Do everything you can to avoid fighting because in the real world, you never know what that person's intentions are, what they have on them, how many of their buddies you don't notice are waiting to jump in, etc. Just not worth getting killed over. If you find yourself unable to avoid fighting, give them everything you've got, use any and all force necessary to stop the threat and get away as soon as humanly possible. Some of the scariest, toughest people I know are guys you will never guess, because they are smart enough to avoid starting shit and don't advertise their skill.

If I am confronted with someone I decide whether I am prepared to fight, if I do not want to fight, I walk away, if they choose to continue to engage me, I have an equalizer, I keep it on me always. No problem. But here's the thing. If I pull it, I will use it 100%, I will not ever threaten. I will only pull it is I feel my life is in danger.
