My kidneys failed 3 years ago while pregnant. I was on dialysis while pregnant. Had a baby premature and spent 3 months in the NICU. I had 7 months where my kidneys rebounded and I was off dialysis. I was able to spend every moment with my daughter and breastfeed her. Now 2 years later my daughter is doing amazing and is healthy. And I'm getting a kidney transplant this Thursday.
