With spots decreasing at an accelerated rate, even the most beloved women (In accordance with their placement in the creation zone) will do just about anything to secure either a spot in the match or some form of advantage going into the finals (Which for whatever reason this series ‘barely’ addresses that scenario). Even though one of these women are already in the finals anyway, an additional victory on their record could’ve secured a better number in the rumble (Perhaps as the freshest woman in the match). One woman wanted in this rumble so badly, she came into this match twice under two different names (A tactic that was repeated in a previous match this season, but under different circumstances). And for one of these women in question, that plan worked… Mercedes Mone, former IWGP Women’s Champion, also known as ‘Sasha Banks’ during her time in the WWE between 2012 and 2022 (In a way, these names were featured in this rumble). The score would suggest that ‘Mercedes Mone’ only eliminated four people when the truth is she eliminated ‘seven’ competitors, as ‘Sasha Banks’ secured three eliminations before ‘her’ elimination. But regardless of how you remember Mercedes Justine Kaestner-Varnado, whether for either of these names or for her portrayal of Koska Reeves in ‘The Mandalorian’, this woman has won accolades for her multiple championship successes and headlining performances on the biggest pay-per-views of all time. This woman who grew from another independent circuit star to one of the greatest of all time looks to prove herself against the fiercest champions who have already qualified for a spot in this match. Course she will only be going in as ‘one’ identity as of this performance, but with any luck it’ll be more than enough. But who was my MVP of this intense rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the NINETEEN women featured in this match, only NINE women secured the most eliminations (Not counting the sole performances of Mone and Banks but combining their efforts as ‘one’). The highest count reached up to ‘4’ eliminations according to the chart, but technically ‘7’ eliminations when combining the performances of two names, which on that note is six points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to: Maxxine Dupri We would never anticipate this level of performance out of Sydney Jeannine Zmrzel since she got her start as a valet for competitors and had very few matches when she is not leading groups like Maximum Male Models or Alpha Academy. But considering that Mercedes already ‘won’ the match, I had to give the award to a woman who proved surprisingly well in this match, and it just so happened to be Maxxine. While I have my doubts that this woman is ‘championship’ material, that she’s lucky to still have a running clothing boutique outside of the wrestling circuit, this is arguably among the best performances I’ve seen out of Maxine compared to every match of hers I’ve seen to date (Don’t even get me started on her two-minute squash loss to Rhea Ripley). While I don’t know if she performed well enough to secure a second chance if an MVP rumble is still in the air, at the very least her performance should still be acknowledged as somewhat of an improvement given one of her main accomplishments so far is having the ‘Worst Gimmick’ when she was part of Maximum Male Models (Which has fortunately died down behind the scenes). The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to: Asuka To say I am very disappointed with this display would barely be scratching the surface. Asuka has been one of my favorite all-time competitors to watch, once a very dominant force no matter which part of her career we follow, and yet to barely land in a few blows in this match before succumbing to an elimination? Granted, other women have been tossed out ‘much’ quicker during this match but in accordance with the statistics as displayed during this board, it’s difficult to argue with the results. With spots running low, the chances for Asuka to place herself in the championship rumble among the likes of ‘Elvira’ and ‘She-Ra’ grows increasingly smaller. If she wants to prove she’s truly that great force we’ve come to expect of her in the ring, she must take what went wrong during her previous performance and prove to the fans, and herself, that she can do better. We will soon be seeing Mercedes Mone attempt to prove herself amongst the line of great champions who qualified for this match, including three competitors who already have lengthy experience in the squared circle (Not so much counting Miss Elizabeth). After achieving such incredible luck in a thirteenth rumble, the following questions remain: Are there any additional beloved characters in the media that the series has neglected to take advantage of? Will yet another WWE superstar cement her name to prove why they are among the greats? Will the intensity increase in later episodes or will the pace ultimately slow down at this point? But the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?

But if I were to throw in an idea for the women's rumble series I'd say: Most Attractive Female Characters (From Ranker) Starfire Jessica Rabbit Black Widow Black Cat Elastigirl Black Canary Lola Bunny Poison Ivy Supergirl Lara Croft Catwoman Gwen Tennyson Princess Jasmine Mystique Kim Possible Psylocke Chel (Road to El Dorado) Raven Shego Batgirl If a substitute can be arranged, depending on who you can't find in the creation zone, I'd throw in Loona the Hellhound from Helluva Boss (I'm sure there's a CAW of her somewhere). That said, that Ranker website has over 'hundreds' of potential applicants.

This might not be popular, but I like the 20 wrestlers format. If this was applied to the men matches, it would allow more unique matches such as a 30 to 39, 40 to 49 and so on ratings specific rumbles with the top three winners in each group entering an all rating class rumble.

No player in baseball can wear the number 42 except on Jackie Robinson day when everyone does.
