I am the Wrestlemaniac829, and today it’s a rumble considered the biggest rematch in history as Team Bloodline tackles the team that they previously defeated, Team Christmas. Prior to this tournament, Team Christmas was on an incredible roll during the holidays with a winning streak few fans would deem unbelievable at best. With an incredible line-up of Christmas icons familiar to us in their own way, at the time there seemed to be no team capable of defeating them. Then it happened, the Bloodline was their latest opponents, the like of which proved overwhelmingly strong and ended up melting any chance they had of a winter wonderland. Going in, The Bloodline aimed to prove that their victory was no fluke, and they would defeat any other team just to prove it. In a match that could’ve ended either way, lightning failed to strike twice as Team Christmas got their revenge through their last standing competitor: Krampus, a being no one wants to encounter especially if they are naughty. Of the many competitors on Team Christmas, Krampus has proven so powerful that not even the ‘Christmas’ version of Kane can stan on the same level as him. When it came down to the last competitors standing, it was all up to this supernatural beast to score the important win to keep Team Christmas in the running. This match was not Krampus demonstrating who ‘deserves’ to win, but that this is the team who ‘wants’ to win this tournament the most. And with Krampus in line to add his power to keep their spirits afloat, it’s fair to say Team Christmas is back on track. But who was my MVP of this Bloodline versus Christmas rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the thirty competitors featured in this match, SIXTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations (7 bloodlines and 9 Christmas icons). The highest count of the day reached ‘3’ eliminations, not exactly an impressive score but at least two points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. The nominees for the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance are: Ebenezer Scrooge… Rudolph… and Sami Zayn. Two holiday mascots and one honorary Bloodline member, all three of whom performed at the highest caliber to help gain their team(s) the necessary points. But going by the numbers, it all came down between the Christmas icons with the longest time… with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer just two slots higher than the stingiest man in town. This wasn’t Rudolph’s rumble to win, but the little deer made a big difference in brightening his team’s hopes just when they were at their lowest point. The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to: Bruce Willis Some would argue the odds were stacked against Willis the moment he got in the ring, especially having to go toe-to-toe with one of the most powerful Samoan wrestlers during his lifetime. Most of the time, it’s half expected for Bruce to lose one of these rumbles but this makes the cut for one of his ‘worst’ to date. Thankfully with Team Christmas still in the running for a tournament win, this could be Bruce’s last chance to prove himself. In a rumble that could end either way, Krampus slays the competition as Team Christmas joins the A.E.W. roster in what’s to be the biggest finale of this tournament. In the meantime, we ask the following questions: Can Team Christmas plow through this foggy winter and prove why they are still among the best factions on this channel? Was The Bloodline’s initial victory over this team truly just sheer dumb luck? Is this a chance for A.E.W. to prove why they are still a roster to look out for?
