Whenever I hear this song. My mind gets transported back to 2016, where I learned that my bf was cheating on me with his ex gf. And it broke me so hard. I've always known that he still have feelings for her, but we just went on coz he's also been very assuring that he loves me and she's already in the past.. and so when I learned about it, I knew.. I just knew, he'd leave me. And he did.. I remember having cigarettes and coffee for breakfast and cigarettes and beers for dinner. My sink filled with dirty dishes and empty bottles. And this song.. it plays on repeat, when I shower, when I lay on my bed crying, and it was the worst coz i live alone. But even though it reminds me of a terrible past. I still love this song. It still aches a little when I hear it, but it's been 4 years. And the world has moved on.
