Thank you for the great video. Good timing. I was cleaning out my home office and decided to take a look at one of my late Father's cameras and it was a Ricoh Auto 35! The only difference I see in my Dad's camera and yours is the film guide on the back...2=Daylight Kodachrome, 3= Daylight Ansochrome/Ektachrome/Kodacolor, 4=All-Weather Pan/Ansco Supreme, 5=Daylight Super Ansochrome/Plus X Pan, 6=High Speed Ektachrome/Tri X. After looking at your images, I may have to put down the Nikon DSLR, invest in some Ilford HP5+ and see what happens.

Interesting variation. These old cameras are great fun to use and a nicechange from digital. It's worth having a look at the user manual, if you haven't got the original, this website www.butkus.org/chinon/ricoh/ricoh_auto_35/ricoh_auto_35.pdf Beware....using old film cameras is addictive. Isn't it interesting how much character those relatively simple cameras give the images? Interesting video. Thank you.

Thanks. I love these old cameras, I have a few more which I'll be using and creating a video review soon. Just bought a roll of 127 ( rather expensive) just got to choose a camera to use it in...... Kodak VPK maybe.

I spotted it last year and thought it unusual, not seen many for sale since.

Dunno if it’s the film or the processing, but all of the images looked very flat and lacking in contrast to me.

Could be that the film was about 15 years out of date or just didn't have the correct exposure. First time using the camera so we'll see how the next, fresh, roll of film comes out.
