Sounds like a very cool camera! For now I will keep using my Lumix GX9 and other small cameras. Would be nice if Ricoh would add a tilt screen. The viewfinder is $250 USD. At a certain point we are talking about pricing which is nearly up to that of the Fujifilm x100v. Now things get a bit tough, for those willing to accept what I would say is a wide lens of 35mm, you begin to compare all the package of the Fujifilm vs. Ricoh street shooter. Or event he Fujifilm XE-4 and XT-30II cameras. The batteries last longer, and the screen tilts -- is brighter too. I believe I got a good deal with the Lumix GX-9 in that I have a camera, with a 12-60mm lens for shooting quality images for travel or say a music event outdoors, included in a price of $798 USD. If I want wide, I have the 14mm, mid-range I have 30mm macro, with is sharp, with no distortions at all, and other MFT lens choices, such as the wonderful Olympus 45mm lens. The battery life is mid-range for smallish cameras -- enough. The touch screen on Lumix is bright and works in most light situations, while only tilting - which is street shooter preferred. In regard to size, the Olympus PEN-PL8 is small, stylish and all metal. Screw on the little Lumix 14mm or 12-32mm and you have the tiny shooter, with monitor shooting, for a low-low cost. I am less enthused by the Lumix 25mm, both in size and focusing performance, and may consider the Olympus 25mm -- that would go good with my old Olympus cameras too. 🤔 I will consider the Ricoh someday, as it is so light and an easy carry -- a total street shooter package, of sorts, but for now, I am liking my other solutions as well. In regard to safety, a wrist strap is attached to all my cameras, with many having the simple and inexpensive paracord straps on them. On two cameras I have the Joby wrist strap, which is no longer available, I guess. Not sure what happened there. Take care, Loren

I like the video, though the audio was a bit too too echoey, then i saw that you’re using a dynamic mic as overhead boom mic. it’s a beautiful mic to have in frame, and your audio will be a lot better!

The camera is very configurable. You don’t have to keep aperture on the front wheel, if you prefer shutter you can reverse them. That’s the beauty of the camera - you set it up the way you want.

For the price for me it needs to be my main camera, and for that it lacks evf and fast autofocus. I gotta admit though that everything Ricoh does is always very compelling. IQ looks amazing too. As usual a pleasure to hear your own personal view about gear!

Yeah, the Ricoh is noisier than Fuji at the same iso, but Fuji lies about its iso. Note that the base iso is 100 on the Ricoh. When you compare, match the exposure, not the iso number
