This is incredible, it worked like a charm. I went to a shop to fill the toner and there was little toner left so the sensor is accurate (even if I printed 298 pages out of the 500 announced). But now I can go to a shop, fill the toner and don't pay for a reset chip. I also have a sp 211 and the service mode hot key is nowhere to be found. Good job finding the service mode combo (if you have the combo for sp 211...)

*Holy Sh!t, this actually worked!* I could print 440 pages on my Ricoh 112 before my "default" toner decided that it was time for me to order a new one. I tried this trick and voila, it prints again! I'm yet to see how many extra pages I can print, but it certainly gave me some extra room while I'm waiting for the new cassette to be delivered. *THANK YOU, KIND OP!*

I use SP112 on Win 10. After un-zipping I don't get a UTILITY folder as you say on [ 1:34 ] and that means no setup button. What do I do?

Yeah, im using a ricoh sp220 nw .. not the same as yours but it was printing fine, no fading when suddenly i got the red light .. i tried your idea and no response to the ctrl shift and double right click .. i guess they disabled it ... its a bit annoying but im more annoyed with ricoh for programming their cartridge to fail when it still has lots of ink ... id complain ... but they would respond anyway

Great, but unfortunately it doesn’t work for the 110, because it looks for drivers for the 112. I had first installed the Smart Organiser for the 110, but it doesn’t have the des mode option...

Unfortunately I only get 16 files when unzipping the file and none of them is called SETUP. I guess they removed this workaround for Windows 7 64 bits. There's a steady red light on the printer and also a red flashing one. It's a RICOH SP 12 DDST. Can anybody help?

Theri website claims that the Ricoh 112 has Windows 10 support but it's not true. I've tried it on 3 different computes without any luck. It is however possible to print through a Windows 7 Virtual Machine using VirtualBox and some work. :)

The code means that there is no comunication between the bicu board and the controller board. I would send it in for repair.
