@@ricomatv Medium weight cutaway? could you use a fabric for the backing since you have the white stabilizer also hooped? Seems like it would be softer on the skin, but may not be stiff enough for the foam. What do you think?

Hi! The longevity depends on the aftercare. We recommend turning the sweatshirt inside out when washing it, using mild detergent, washing in cold water, and air drying.

I love this idea, but I recently came across a KZbinr who was warned obout doing an embroidery embossing video. Apparently someone has the patent on it and they are going after people using it. I presume Ricoma has purchased the licence from her to show this video!

Which has been around for years. The technique originated in Sicily in the 14th century and was popular in Tudor England and Marseilles, France. Immigrants from these countries brought trapunto to America.

That's ugly and not the real embossed way. The run stitch makes it look ugly. Don't think I'll do this nor waste foam. There gotta be a better way than this. This is a crafters craze.

The real embossed way would require you to get a hydraulic press, make custom molds for every item you are going to make, and this is very expensive and takes a lot of time. Or you can do it this way. Thanks for watching.
