Tenchu 2 is absolutely the best. The story and gameplay are the best in the series. One of the best prequels of all time alongside with Snake Eater, Crisis Core, and Birth By Sleep.

Sweet love the games I played the first one for hundred of hours loved the mission in the snow and the boarder check the most in game 1 . oh and the pirates . . its always better with pirates . :D And yes 2's storyline was awsome it was no slacker squal for sure.

god i love this game series it is what made me start liking ninjas and now a got me a full ninja outfit a ninja-to and a tanto this will always be my favorite series and is it just me or does kakashi (from naruto) and rikamaru look alot alike (after he got his scar)

I can't explain how much I love these two games...they definitely are the best of the whole series. I especially loved how you could build your own missions in Tenchu 2, really sad that they cut this option out :( Even though I don't know the translation of the lyrics, I think the intro song to Tenchu 2 is one of the most emotional I've known so far(especially when you combine it with the video)

I got used to Ayame's smartass remarks in Tenchu 1, I didn't prepare myself for her depressing sad story in Tenchu 2. I definitely didn't see that coming.

This cheat applies only for all levels EXCEPT Punish The Evil Merchant, Cross The Checkpoint, and Execute The Corrupt Minister. Japanese voice acting is much better than English one.

+CrotaroLP you should try Japanese voice. When Activision potray Rikimaru as respectful and heroic ninja in English dub, in Japanese he actually addressed his enemies mostly by the word "kisama" (a very malicious, hostile and rude way of saying "you") while Ayame addressed her enemies mostly by "anta" (an informal and impolite version of "anata", which means "you"). Suddenly Ayame sounds kinder than Rikimaru, eh?? While JPN Rikimaru still has high sense of honor and ultimately loyal to Lord Gohda, he definitely is NOT goody two shoes hero like in English dub.

I did play it, but... I didin't understand japanese, so I didin't really knew about the story... In fact, that was the first Tenchu I ever played, then 2, loved the story, then I got to buy englich version of the first one... And now I'm a big fan.

Tenchu 1 and tenchu 2, the good old days in a different time long ago. In a time before the woke agenda and snowflake generation. Ghost Of Tsushima is almost as good.

Ahhh for me Tenchu only spans theese two games, and maybe, just maybe Kurenai. The rest is Ninja gaiden wannabe crap. Tenchu 2's story is one of may favorites with the legacy of Kain series.

Wrath of heaven is the worst of all tenchu games in my opinion... I mean... Zobies? flying heads AND ROBOTS? All the dojutsu crap, Tatsumaru's lame revival... EEverithing from that game is annoying (Not counting gameplay)
