Although there's some interesting feedback on homepage, so much of it is visual. While strong visuals help, a lot of these little callouts won't make or break anything for a candidate. I agree with focusing more on your story and the content: Who are you? How can you best highlight yourself, your experience and your work? What is unique about you? Can any other designer take your intro statement, or about me, and put it on their own portfolio? If so, it's too vague. The idea of using the headings in case studies to tell the story is also a great tip! It's all about scannability: strong headings, bullet points, and digestible content vs. large paragraphs.

We hear you there, @smclarenify. So much of it is visual! It's the culmination of so many issues that add up and cause a portfolio to give the wrong impression.

Hey there, I watched all of your videos on this portfolio and there were some good point for sure. I was wondering, how did the designer take all of the feedback? I see his site is down (not sure if it was from too many views or buyer's remorse).

His portfolio was down at the time that we put up the video, actually. Well before we released the video, I looked to find him again, but couldn't find him.
