@@greedo194 Yea but pretty sure it was because somix had more strive to win after getting read and edgegaurded hard by spargo you could see riddles was getting tilted not that anyone wouldn’t I know I’d get frustrated not being able to get back to stage and then that ends up making you make poor decisions to then losing the set which then leads him to losing against Sonix in the next set probably still hung up about losing to spargo badly where as Sonix kept it very close against riddles when he lost their first set and also getting a revenge win gives you more reason to win. This game being as competitive and fast paced as it is really takes a toll on your mental state which then determines how you’re going to perform in the game

Yea thats kinda what happened at Genesis 9 and Summit 6 too. I even think that if he wasn't stressed out by that Chase (Genesis 9) loss so much, he could have made top 8 losers side, because his opponents would have been Marss, Sisqui, Dabuz and Gluto. And he won against all of those players at his last sets with them.

Yes people who think Kazuya is just a crazy good character have either only played them against people who are terribly bad at the game and just win because of his weight and damage as I feel in casual smash he’s just strong and lives long. Or they have never actually played him themselves to see how many flaws he actually has. He’s a big risk reward character against very good players as you watch these sets at the end against Spargo you can see how difficult it is for Kazuya to get out of the air and back onto stage. Kazuya can kill from one combo a lot of the time sure but that’s if everything is taken into account they need to be at the right percent they need to have bad DI or decision making for you to continue the combo a lot of the time and even then the person playing Kazuya has to have perfect execution if they don’t have that part down then most of the time you’re going to lose against good players as if they are playing faster characters with better frame data they will win neutral more and will win the game simple as that

After playing Terry for a few weeks, I found when back jumping while someone's airborne; they're likely to float towards you a bit. Easy crack shoot hits. I also found out crack shoot can spike, if you hit them in the last frame of the second hit box. Only did it once, and I lost my shit. Literally. Lost the game, but it was fun.

I honestly understand the matchup , not only did he constantly have to chase the sonic for a set , then get three stocked by spargo and sent to losers to watch wifi sonic run down the clock with side special into up tilts constantly. It’s even worse knowing that it’s your mains counter and invalidates your your rush in options with one button inputs. If it was locals he would have gotten 3 stocked.

I am not saying Kazuya is bad on wifi, but you gotta understand, that being a kazuya main means 95% to rely on your death combos. If you play online the combo timings change (Due to input delay and also occasional lag if the connection sucks) and you gotta play differently than other characters have to (online). Also most combo characters have a harder time online than characters who win with single disjointed hits. Thats why you can't rate offline characters equivalently to their online counter parts.

@@daimajin266 sure, but it’s Kazuya. He armors through jabs, gets 45% off a rage drive, has intangible everything, and his input grab sends most characters at an angle they simply can’t recover from. His up air is fast and kills, his Up B kills off a stray EWGF, and so does his Up Smash. He can set up immediate kills with EWGF into offstage nairs. It’s free. It’s Kazuya. Sheik on the other hand is an actual combo character that heavily suffers from differences in lag and connection.

Its still different from offline, especially if you are a top player and accostumed to play offline (Also the stuff I already said above), so complaining about online is completely valid if you cannot do the most important combo strings that you normally can do offline.
