I love the game i like to slide the bike into the corners loved it on ride 2 but ride 3 you have to use more throttle control and turn in alot earlier becouse off the heavy understeer but once you have mastered that its great and the slip stream alot more affective on ride 3 plus love the bike choices on ride 3.

No comparison with the sound, Ride 3 sounds like a motorbike and Ride 2 sounds like a cheap synthesiser in an echo chamber. I wish they would patch MotoGP 18 with the Ride 3 sound, MotoGP bikes don't sound like wasps. EPIC STOPPIES!!!

So I just ordered Ride 2 instead of Ride 3, and before watching this video. I’m damned glad I did! According to the comments (and the video), R3 has better graphics and sound, but R2 has better gameplay. Thanks to everyone here for giving the true gen on this title! Cheers!

Believe me bro, you don't made mistake. R2 is MUSH better than R3 in many fields! I owned both and I know, R3 is just makeup R2 has better physics, sound, reality, feel for speed, acceleration, cornering.... everything is better in ride 2.

Thanks for the comparison mate, it really highlights the improved smoother graphics & sound... one thing it also surprisingly highlighted was the reduced detail (rubber, scrapes, patched bitumen etc) on the tarmac surface! 🤔 (2nd track not so much)

Physics are more real af in Ride 3. The in helmet cam shows one of the difference between 2 & 3. St top speed the Head starts to shake a bit from wind. Otherwise you can see how the bike work in corners. The sound by using a Headset is amazing af. Goosebumps. Light-effects are more real than in 2. In 3 your tail starts to break out while you brake. You have to balance it yourself. If you love games that are try to be real, than change. My english isn't the yellow from the egg, by the way.

Ride two is soooo slow in leaning, and 3 just seems more real to me, I ride and I can lean in and out pretty quickly and ride 2 just makes it seem a littler slower than normal

Oh yeah ! The sound on R3 is so much more POWERFULL ! So more rageous and nervous ! Like a real moto must be ! Great ! But for graphics I see they have all remade, not just the last asset upgraded but a real rework design ... there are some artistic choice I prefer on R2 (for this track on this video, I don't have the two games) like the old edge, and others I prefer on R3 but R3 seems to be more consistant, less aliased etc etc so .... But it is not X enhanced ? Good video and sorry for my awfull english !

I actually really like the physics on ride 3, only on the race classes like R2 and R1. The bikes feel the same to me as in Ride 2, just don't care too much about the normal road bikes. Do enjoy racing the small 300cc class.

I was excited for Ride 3 - I enjoy it - it's a different riding style for sure. I don't think it's as good as 2 though - but it may be that I just prefer the handling better. In 2 the front ends were solid, you could come flying into a corner hard on the brakes. These bikes seem to handle more like MotoGP18. In MotoGP18 it took me a while to figure out the best way to ride and I'm finally competitive at 100% - I'm sure once I get more hours in on 3 I'll figure it out.

Hmm... Everything about 2 looks and "feels like it looks" better. Sure the exhaust notes are improved - but the staggering lap time difference makes me lean to Ride 2. It's $9 on Xbox Live right now, and I think I'll pull the trigger on it.

One thing I noticed is track differences and size of building differences, like the one historic structure in Ride 2 looks massive, but in Ride 3 you barely notice it. Which is more accurate in terms of scale and track realism?? As far as sounds, Ride 3 far and away better. Both are similar in graphics but Ride 3 looks to have the edge. I have neither game, but it's my understanding that Ride 2 is based Valentino Rossi: The Game (MotoGP '16) game engine? And that Ride 3 is based on the UE4 MotoGP '18 game engine? Shame there was no helmet cam view. But rider view was nice at least.

One other thing I'd have to ask, are the tracks in Ride 3 laser/drone scanned like they are in the more modern MotoGP games?? Wondering if that is the reason for track differences I see, hehe. I also like that you can hear the rush of the wind past you in Ride 3. Knowing my luck I'll probably end up with both as Ride 2 is on sale now for cheap and can wait and get Ride 3 down the road... But is the Ducati Paso in either game? I want that rare bike.

What shits me is l only ride in first person view and sometimes the thick edge on the top of the windscreen on some bikes covers your view of the corners coming up on the horizon until your rider sits up when letting off the gas. It’s better once you intimately get to know the tracks, but still annoying at times. Also the graphics are better in some ways on Ride 2. Just my opinion though.

I can’t believe what ride has done, after waiting a year for it to come out they completely change the physics. They should have made it easy for themselves and made ride 2 but with more bikes and tracks and customisation. And iron out all the little issues, I can think of 20 of the top of my head so how they can’t fix the main 10 blows my mind. All this extra work changing the engine and it’s overall worse in my opinion. Such a shame :/

Hi guys Drag races are just ridiculous. Ive managed to win a few but am shying away from any events with them in now until they fix it, if they fix it. The AI brake stupidly late and the % levels seem all over the place to me. People moaning on the FB page that this game isn't hard enough have got to be Trolls surely ? Ive won sone at 90% but am mainly running out at 75% to give myself a chance. It doesn't seem to make much difference financially you still get plenty of money. Ive put some hours in but boy career is long. I cannot believe they don't have online times going to the leaderboards ??? only TT thats ridiculous i wonder if they will watch that ? Another really annoying thing is the leaderboards are already dominated by people using "Standard" mode WHY ??? What is the incentive for using "Pro" mode if you can't beat a time with all assists on ? Brilliant Milestone !!! Great game really enjoying it, almost to the point where i have purchased the X just to get 60 fps so it must be good lol Totally addicted here :-) jut shame Milestone don't understand the importance of making their games better online. More functions like being able to access the leaderboards from a lobby when racing online and waiting in the lobby to compare lap times would promote healthy competition and build a better online community but they just don't get it. The leaderboards are all over the place Class wise also, they couldn't have made it more Complex. Trying to work out what bikes to use on what tracks is just ridiculous. Rant over enjoying the game and Great channel content as usual Robo ;-)

I think the level Milestone are at with this is that it works offline in single player mode provided you get on o.k. with the physics.. It's a shame because the games themselves have great potential. Also for some of us a higher challenge "Simulation" physics mode to compliment the existing physics modes (Standard, Semi-Pro, Pro..) but to provide a slightly deeper challenge would not go amiss. The addition of just a small file within the physics folder could provide this.. Just look at how well organised SMS are by comparison.

In my opinion i think Ride 3 is way better. The physics are better than R2 and a lot harder. It takes time to gain skill on taking corners. Ride 2 was super easy. Ride 3 is more of a Grind as well. The only thing i dislike is that the map on the bottom left should be bigger. many times you be speeding and then the turn will just pop up. Where as if i can see the turn approaching on the map i can better adjust myself to not only slow down but take the turn accurately. But that really just comes with map knowledge. plus Ride 3 even tells you to practice the maps before you race so that you know the corners. i just started doing that so my feelings will change i hope. overall, R3 is difficult but better.

As someone who actually rides and has experience on racetracks like in the game, I HATE the physics of the Ride 2, the suspension is ungodly bouncy, a shift from 1st to 2nd shouldn’t create some crazy bounce wheelie, I haven’t played Ride 3 yet, but it looks like the physics are actually a little more realistic compared to Ride 2. I may go ahead and get Ride 3, so thanks for the review!

I highly doubt that, even if they fix every bug there is, the game was not properly tested. Most of the bugs can be spotted in less than an hour of gameplay. I don't care that much about visual bugs but online lobbies are a joke, Ride 2 had better lobbies and some people are not able to even play the game because of a problem with AMD graphic cards or some other compatibility issue that only this game seems to have.

@@Jvgarcia25 tampoco creas que es una cantidad de motos muy grande... La parte simulación gana ride 2 de calle. Lo mejor de Ride 3 es el editor. Si buscas un juego arcade con detallitos pequeños de simulación pero te mola mucho la personalización, Ride 3 te va a encantar. Si lo que buscas es algo mas cercano a la realidad, Ride 2 le da mil patadas. Y fisicas me párecen mas divertidas las del 2 también...

Ride 3 est une honte, le jeu est totalement irréaliste. Je viens de faire un 6min34 sur le nurb avec une H2 (stock), c'est ridicule. Les échappements ne changent pas le son, les modification moteurs sont exagérés et le freinage est trop puissant pour une moto. Bref le jeu est devenu arcade et ne comble plus les gens comme moi à la recherche de réalisme.

t'as joué la ride 2 pour donner une comparaison? Je suis partagé entre la Ride 3 et Ride 2. J'aime bien la côte arcade de Driveclub bike et j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir mais je voulais jouer un jeu qui est plus une simulation, ou bien que la simulation est bien faite.

@@CyberGasty pour le moment oui mais je te conseil d'attendre quelques mois de voir se qu'ils vont faire du jeu, on est dans un monde ou les jeux sont vendu inachevés donc il faut être patient. En sachant que le 2 peut être moddé pour que le moteur soit encore plus réaliste, il ne me semble pas que le 3 soit moddable pour le moment.
