Maybe, but getting bicycles off the streets kind of removes some of the purpose of owning the bike, like going from shop to shop while leaving your bike outside. Also, who would choose to bike from their home to their destination if it is many kilometres away? Why not just take transit and then the short distance in between the station and the person's destination they could take a bike, negating any need for skycycle infrastructure.. Idk... It might be an option for bicycle infrastructure *after* cities finish filling out their street network with bike paths, but if it were to be built beforehand, it might just remove funding from more pressing transportation issues. As an aside, since bikes work well in making short, point to point, trips, it might not be the best to build highway like infrastructure for them which only provides for long distance travel.

It'd be awesome but it wouldn't be like a free highway. There would be tolls there. It's just too convenient. Like, if this was brought and made here in Ireland, I would completely ditch the bus and go buy myself a bike. And that's just a one off payment. So yeah.

Urbansound I think that more people would ride their bikes if there were bicycle highways. You can still ride down on the streets if you are going store to store but if the store is 4 km away you can easily take the bike if there is a fitting bicycle highway. Up to one metric mile isn't long on a bicycle.

It's a waste of money, even in a lab where they have top of the line eeg and an actual person to give you the stimulus it's still extremely hard to induce lucid dreams. If you want a more useful device, look up Emotiv Epoch I think it also comes with an app that can trigger lights/sounds during rem, but again don't get your hopes up..

I've always had this idea for a bike path; what if you had two paths slightly angled in opposite directions for a few miles, then have some sort of lift on either end, you could charge a toll to cover costs and I swear people would use it.

The thing about the kinetic tiles is that walking on them will make you more tired than walking on tarmac. This is because they absorb your kinetic energy and as a result there is less of a bounce and thus more effort is required on your part. This can likened to trying to run on sand when there is no "bounceback" as the sand absorbs your KE so it is harder to run or walk.

It's really not that difficult to self-induce lucid dreams by following the guides that are widely available on the internet already. I had an app on my iPod touch which measures how much you're moving around in bed. The deeper you sleep, the less you move so when you're moving around a lot you're probably in REM sleep which is when dreams happen. It didn't induce LDs, but it did wake you up near the end of a REM cycle so you can actually remember what you dreamt. It worked pretty great :) Using brain waves is a bit harder but the idea definitely can work.

Truly Nuclear I don't remember :/ I think it was something with sleep cycle. I haven't used my iPod in years so it's a bit vague. It was something with cycle in it, so try combining it with REM, dream, sleep, etc etc. you'll find something, there were quite a few apps that did this.
