I enjoyed this virtual ride very much! The bus is a good shape and looks much better than the vehicles I have to use in daily life. Public transportation is highly developed in SL and obviously people can afford them. Thanks for this amazing inside to another aspect of public life in SL. 😲

Thanks for the follow-up, Triple-A. I hope these buses get cleaned and maintained on a regular schedule. If they do get cleaned daily (one hopes), then the public appears to have a weird and unhealthy perspective on how we handle trash. We see it with the "bormehs" all over the place and the waste on the ground, but having that kind of attitude on a new and publicly shared space says something (and it's not nice). If these buses are regularly maintained, they should run for a long time. Do you know if these buses run on a schedule or on capacity? It would be nice if they ran on a dependable schedule. Also, the debussing leaves much to be desired, and we are working towards an accident. People leaving a moving bus (that has yet to come to a complete stop) is dangerous, and I wonder what those few extra feet of early departure buy you. I also have no idea why the doors can open when the bus still moves-this demonstrates some "poda-poda" mentality on a much larger and less predictable vehicle. Anyway, thanks for the update, Triple-A. I hope these details will be safely ironed out in the long run. I really appreciate your coverage.

Why does the bus have to do a U turn at the end. That looks like a hazard in making? Secondly, I noticed the army guy with the gun. Why are they allowed to walk around with that? Crooked ones may use it to extort the poor who don’t seem to have much rights across Africa.
