I guess the devs forgot that with a jet pack you would survive that "fall" and glitch under the map. Unfortunately although the algae generators themselves float up with the water level the algae does not so if the water wasn't originally deep enough the algae is inaccessible.

That 2 by 2 biolab might have fitted well on top of any of your 2 by 2 corner rooms. That T2 biodome and butterfly dome will demand a location as well. Nice though to see you survive clipping through the terrain!

Yes, this. I've been using a square/loop style base like this too and usually one of the 2x2 corners remains empty, perfect spot for biolab.
