Holy hell man. That first big battle with the Slave Raiders was epic and so spot on! I remember the first time I played with the “Calradia Expanded” mod. I ran into a party of Southern Enslavers. I had a decent army (not amazing but solid), and the Southern Enslavers only slightly outnumbered me. I have won countless battles when horribly outnumbered by a Lord’s army so I figured how bad could it be. I got this. All I remember was seeing a wave of Rombphallia wielding mounted Enslavers flying towards me. I got fucking steamrolled and was cut down within seconds. Terrible feeling. But man that feeling that you get when later in that campaign you and a better army grind down a hellish battle and you crush them. It is fantastic. You nailed it! Also the Long Glaive is a weapon of the God’s.

Only a few months late offc. With smithing u can make a long glaive that u can couch. It just needs the right shaft. Maybe u know allready. I always use a glaive on horseback its such an epic weapon. Much more usefull then a lance/spear.

The formula I have observed from your earlier campaigns is that archers are great to take out heavy horsemen when reinforced by infantry. And Horse Archers are good to take out enemy infantry.

i honestly think you should go for the plate. you're on horse back most of the time after all so it won't affect your movement speed. not to mention aesthetically? it would move you from simply a raider and upstart within the khergit. to mighty conqueror! the scourge of god! and the destroyer of all that Monchug holds dear! but. that is just my view on the situation.

In the cities where you have your shops see in the market tab which are the expensive consumer goods, and make your workshop produce that good. Usually I have noticed leather workshops do great.

I gotta say, the fighting on horseback is such a rush compared to being on foot. There's nothing like gliding across the battlefield, swinging your glaive to some poor soul. I love this episode, the whole time I was cursing out loud "swing motherf^&*$# he's right there! Ahhh crap you missed!" I feel the suspense and I'm really into it. Great job Surreal!

I suggest the use of your long glaive against riders and your steppe bow against footmen. The lance is a liability because it forces you to get into an enemy’s killing zone. While glaive and bow always keep you away from a spear’s reach. Guide your riders at attacking the back of your enemies while your footmen are preoccupying them head on. Nomads fight like water not like rock.

However it turned out they were unsuccessful and confused - this official historians, apparently, do not dare to show the real history of the Tatars, being afraid of their ‘scientific chiefs’.
