Thanks for the great help. ... can be very frustrating.... Means to me: You can twist your leg and the season is over. I am riding since more than 25 years, still not able to ride with one foot on the board.

Hey there , thanks for the amazing, informative video. Would you teach one footer on a complete beginner at their first lesson?
@XVDLR2 жыл бұрын
I am not sure as I never teach beginners . It could make sense but not sure...

I ani't no pussy, but I will never do any one footed freestyle tricks. I mean... just imagine what could happen to your knee if it goes wrong 😖. I can't wait to see what videos you have in store for us this winter. You have covered so much over the years... must be getting challenging by now to find a good topic @Xav
@XVDLR2 жыл бұрын
Thank you - yup, I am leaving those tricks to my brother too! Amazing how many topics there are once you get into it - and thank you for the support, really appreciate it. Xv

Thanks for these - i always hated riding one-footed, even if just getting off the lift. The fact that the board could now, at least in theory, rotate around my front leg always made me feel scared for my ACL. Because that's the good thing about being tied to the board with both legs, those typical skiing injuries cannot happen.
@XVDLR2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, definitely less likely to do your ACL on the board rather than skiing, although not impossible of course. Hope some of the tips make you feel more comfortable one-footed. Xv

@@XVDLR yes the simple tip of having your foot placed slightly over the edge so you can dig your heel in to brake!

These one-footed jumps are crazy for me! ..but they look insane tho! Somehow I always have a thought in my head when riding faster with only one leg attached, that if I fall over, the board will make a corkscrew out of my leg. Maybe it's time to break down and pay more attention to it and finally get used to it..
@XVDLR2 жыл бұрын
Yeah - me too! I am going to leave them to Victor!
