I wrote Ride Out Your Storm on March 19, 1995. This was another song written at the time I was believing God for the deliverance of my husband from his long-time heroine addiction. Just two days after writing this my husband stopped using and he remained clean for the rest of his life! Praise God for His goodness!

When the Dr confirmed i had 2nd stage throat cancer.My left side of my neck was so swollen, i couldn't breathe,eat or sleep , cried a lot in pain.That was the turning point of my life.The moment i gave & released all to my Almighty Daddy Lord God &trusted in Him completely, my life turned around.I felt so releaved inside of me.Daddy God sees me thru as i go for my Dr checkups & chemo treatment.The chemo treatment makes me nauseous,weak,hair loss & short breath &weight loss. God's restoring me daily with all the treatments & meds I'm taking . God's rebuilding my appetite & strength.In God i trust & i know I'm cancer free in Jesus Holy Name. With God all things are possible . Together with my daughter & family support they make stronger daily. I still have 6 more chemos to complete, but with Daddy God & the Blood of Jesus Christ I'm more than a conqueror thru Christ who strengthens me. I'm made whole in Jesus Name. All Glory, Praise & Honor belongs to Our Great Commission Savior Lord Jesus &Almighty Daddy God. Amen

I rode out my storm with the most High on my side..I was employed with a reputable & well known company..After being employed for 22 yrs management started several disciplinary action against me..I fought & won all the cases for 8 yrs..then I gave notice of my intention to Retire..then the harassment stopped & I retired with full pension & 30 yrs of employment under my belt..Management wanted someone much younger than I was...Only God knew how I was able to accomplish such feat..Never give up & Never stop believing in the Almighty God!
