Ride to Blackball Hilton

Hi guys, in this vid we leave Christchurch on an early Sunday morning and head through the picturesque Lewis Pass onto the West Coast town of Blackball for lunch at the historic Blackball Hilton Hotel.
After lunch we pass through Moana (Lake Brunner), Arthurs Pass, Porters Pass before finishing off our 7 hour journey back at Christchurch. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks mate, always do those roads when we are in the south island they are real gems on a bike. Have stayed in the Hilton after the Burt. A good night with all the other riders who were doing the same. Great cooked breakfast too. Regards Dennis

Yeah I thought maught have been for tankers cause there's some pretty nice farms up there, it sure was a great day, cheers

😀 😀Gidday Nigel, Great Job on the Video, Yeah a great day's riding and how often do you get to pass a Supercar like the 9XXL. LOL I've never been to BLackBall but the Hilton Looks Cool and If i Can say, the Town has one of Best Salamis on the coast . good video you probably need to upgrade to a weather proof camera lol...i heard that a family on a trip in the outback using google map it put them on the wrong road it was a red muddy road they got bogged for 2 days till they got help by police...i'd trust my tom tom than google map...never buy navman i had 2 it went kaput after few months..
