(Ride video) quick highway run on Miway 0338 | The last 2003 D40LF of Mississauga Transit

0338 is a 2003 New Flyer D40LF and is part of a 44 unit order (0301-0344). These were the first fleet of D40LF buses purchased from New Flyer by MiWay, and are in the process of Retirement. These units are powered with a Cummins 8.9L EPA2001 Diesel Turbocharged 6 cylinder Engine (ISL) and a 4 speed automatic Voith DIWA-864.3E transmission. These units use American Seating Model 6468 passenger seats, and operator controlled climate control.

There a bunch of the parked at the back of Malton yard. Awaiting there final destination. Quite a few 05s still rumbling up and down the road. Gonna miss these old girls when they go. The new busses are just too quiet.

I'll miss those buses so much@@ontario_transit . I am so grateful to have rode on lots of them several times, I'll miss the 2003s and 2005s. :(
