I really only need one thing be happy with the game. And that is a option that allows the camera to look into the turns while you're taking them. So you don't have to use the right stick to look up and out of a hairpin or any turn really.

I've always wanted a Gran Tourismo / Forza for motorcycles, and it seems like Ride 2 is the closest thing to that. Still feels like there are areas that need some improvement, but I think I'll still pick it up. Hopefully the developers step things up even further though!

Ride 2 is easy without any aids until you ride the Suter MMX500, or the RCV or the H2R! They are all barmy to ride

thanks for the comparo. I was hoping to pick this one up, but it just isn't there yet. I hope milestone keep trying, but I also hope they change nearly everything. fix the handling, fix the gawd awful sound and FFS throw in some FUN circuits - leguna seca, and PG circuits etc. glad to see nurburg in there

I don't know if it is just me, but I can't hear a difference between the sound of the two games in this video. Not because he talks so much (you do), but what can be heard just isn't ANY different to my ears. Anyway, thanks for this video, very good.

Why are you clearly slower in RIDE, but the lap time suggests that it is just 0.5 s of (with the finish line being on the starting line in RIDE rather than set back like it is in RIDE 2)?

servenToGo there's about a second difference in the lap times (not that I was going for lap times for this video) the reason there isn't a difference when they're side by side is because I synced the videos together so that they would be going around the same corners at the same time to give a better comparison. I basically used my editing skills 😂

You should stop talking when you are doing the sound comparison, it's almost impossible to notice how better it sounds in Ride 2 because we can't hear the bikes. The only think I can notice is that the sound seems higher in Ride 2.

The BIGGEST disappointment for me is the ABSENCE of TRAFFIC. There is NO... and I repeat... NO game with decent bike physics that would include public roads! Except for TDU 1 and MOTO RACER 3... but physics sucked at both. A niche?

I think if they did an open world Ride game a bit like Forza Horizon then they should add traffic but how it is right now i don't see the need for traffic

Or do the segment run like NFS 1 had (or NFS Run). From point A to point B. As a developer you avoid of making a game too complex with the open world map but traffic fits in just great.

"The Crew Wild Run" is probably what you're looking for about the traffic but don't wait for the perfect riding physics because it's a simcade game.
